David Mills

David Mills joined the Gianetti lab in October of 2020. He received his B.S. in Chemistry and minor in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona in the Spring of 2018. His undergraduate research, under the guidance of Dr. Kukolich, involved synthesis of inorganic complexes and microwave analysis, as well as DFT analysis of these systems. As a Ph.D. student, his research is focused on the synthesis and characterization of 2D Hybrid Perovskites. He is a native of Tucson and an avid fan of European football. When he is not in the lab, he enjoys spending time with his family, friends and dogs.
